1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kina ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kina is an AI-powered skincare guidance tool that provides personalized skincare routine recommendations, skin analysis, and daily check-in tracking. The Service is for informational and educational purposes only.

3. Not Medical Advice

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content and recommendations are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider for medical concerns. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on information from the Service.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, including skin photos and routine data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI models, and software — are owned by Kina and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to: violate any laws; upload malicious content; attempt to gain unauthorized access; or interfere with the Service's operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to skin reactions or adverse effects from following any recommendations.

9. Subscriptions & Refund Policy

  • Kina offers subscription-based premium features billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.
  • We offer a full refund if requested within 7 days of your initial purchase, provided you have not extensively used the premium features.
  • Refunds after the 7-day window are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

  • Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a manner that could harm other users or the Service. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
